| I woke up this morning at 11:39am. Well, I didn't even realize it but I had fallen asleep for about 16 hours. Geez that was probably more sleep than I have had in a week combine for the past couple of weeks. It felt great though. After I woke up I went to the gym and ran my 3 miles, did my 30 minutes of pilates, hour of weights and 45 minutes of cardio. Gosh that felt so great, so I thought I would treat myself a bit today. I had one of thoes protein shakes at Bally's and oh my gosh was it goooooood. After finishing my shake I went outside for a quick smoke and what did I find...ahhhh everything but my car. OMG! I panic and I went inside to tell one of the Bally's employees about my missing car. They had called the police and it was so emabarassing because ...when my Personal Trainer walked in he said "Hey Jules, your car looks great"...I was like," huh Alex? You saw my car? When? Where?". Alex replied,"ahhhhh yeah, like it's right next to mine and by the way did you forget thoes spaces are reserved for the Staff only?". I said,"oh-my-god! so...". Alex replied,"yeah I think there's a parking ticket on it, how long did you park there for?". I looked at the clock and it was 3:20pm. Yikers! I was there for almost 3 hours and got a ticket. Bummer! But Alex was able to clear it for me. So not so bad afterall. I guess you tend to act funny and do odd things when you get too much sleep | | |
| I just got off the phone Art( the cute guy from Central Park/ my 3 miles jog) only thing is he's in NYC and I'm back in California studying for my finals and getting ready for my MS ...but that's ok because Art has his finals the same time as mine and after that he's comming out to California. No not to see me exactly, his sister got accepted to Loyola Marymount and he's meeting his mom and sister out in LA, to help her get everything together. By the way I just found out Art is Thai, what a small world. Too many thais live in NYC. Enough about that...so, since I will be in California during that time, he jst asked if he can see me, that's if I'm available. The problem is I said yes. Which is not so good. My ex and I are talking again, like evryday. My ex is comming back from Thailand in the later part of May and after he registers for school he will fly to California to spend time with me. Which means, they will both be in California at the same time!
Art is such a great guy...an my ex well, I was with him for a longtime and I'm not so sure I'm 100% over him yet.
| This entry is devoted to my phone bill
As some of you may already know, I had recently resigned to my position at work so I can go back to school full-time (I'm finishing up my 2nd Bachelors and will start my MSGL right away). Boy was that a big mistake when I got this huge phone bill. I thought geez with 3500 anytime minutes, 5000 nights and weekends, unlimited Mobile to Mobile, unlimited Web Access , AIM, Messenger,SMS and MSM all on a nationwide calling plan, I would be all set. W-R-O-N-G! It's fine if you stay in the continental U.S. And all this time I though hey a quad band phone is the best thing in the world because I can use my phone anywhere and everywhere on this globe (as long as there's reception, that is). Well I guess that's because in the past while I was still working, my employer took care of my cell phone bill for me, so I never really cared at all what the fees were. I didn't go over my minutes but it was all the roaming fees that got me on this month's bill, and it just happens to be the first bill I have to pay myself, all this because I quit my job ...I guess I'm going backwards here.
You must be wondering what was my job that they would pay my phone bill. I was a Business Development Manager at Motorola. So as one of their employees that traveled like 60% of the time, they would cover all of our expenses when it comes to communications and provide us with only the top technology. I got to keep my V600 and V400 though when I left. Thank goodness for that atleast.
So now what am I left with? No job, no boyfriend anymore, finals in 2 weeks, graduation gitters, a huge phone bill and man tuition is due on ASAP. Y-I-K-E-S...gotta go call my dad ASAP so he can wire me some de niro or else I'm gonna have to be car-less soon as well and walk to school
| a + b + c = - $abc.00 in da wallet
I went to cingular.com today to view my bill and yikes! I just realized that calling from your cellphone to Thailand is $1.50 per minute. Roaming is $1.39 per minute and when roaming eventhough I have free long distance to anywhere in the U.S. and pay $0.15 per minute to Canada, I still had to pay roaming fees of $1.39 per every god da#&!t minute! So ah huh when I was in Thailand making calls to other places in Thailand I was paying $1.39 for every incomming minute and $2.89 per minute for outgoing calls(man I gotta talk to AIS about this roaming thing), when I was in Thailand calling back to the U.S. and Canada it was $1.39 or $1.54 and that's just incomming call minutes. Outgoing while in Thailand to the U.S. was $1.39 + $1.50+ $.15= $3.04. Now I might not be a mathmatecians guys, but I think at this rate I could have flown to Thailand and back about 6 times for what I have to pay on this bill. I think I better change my greeting on my cell from "Hello Moto" to "Bye Bye Moto" So much for a Quad-band phone when it says you can use it anywhere in the world and on any network they should also tell you that additional fees will and do apply. Gosh I regret for quitting my job!
